Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Poland today on an official visit.
According to local media, Zelensky is scheduled to meet with the Polish president, Andrzej Duda, and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, as well as with businessmen, deputies, mayors and volunteers.
The arrival of the Ukrainian ruler in Poland marks Zelensky’s first official visit to the European country. The reason for the meeting is the signing of an agreement on unified checkpoints on the border, the construction of which may begin this year.
The length of the common border between Poland and Ukraine is 535 kilometers and there are 14 checkpoints, eight of which are for cars.
