U.S. returns 60 undocumented Cuban migrants by air

On Thursday, 60 irregular migrants (55 men and five women) were returned to Cuba on a flight from the United States through the José Martí International Airport, as part of bilateral migration agreements.

One of these individuals had to be transferred to the investigative body for allegedly committing crimes before leaving the country, and another because he illegally left the country while on parole, the Ministry of the Interior reported on its official website.

It added that with this operation, including those carried out from the U..S on January 23rd and February 27th, there will be 13 returns from various nations in the region in 2025, totaling 367 people.

Cuba remains firmly committed to regular, safe, and orderly migration, while reiterating the danger and life-threatening conditions posed by illegal departures from its territory by sea.
