Serguei V. Lavrov, foreign minister from the Russian Federation, will arrive in Cuba next Monday, February 19, according to a statement issued by the Cuban foreign ministry.
This is Lavrov’s ninth visit to Cuba since his appointment to the post.
As part of the program, the distinguished visitor is scheduled to hold meetings with Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the country, and with Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, minister of foreign affairs.
The visit to Cuba takes place within the framework of a tour by the Russian foreign minister to other countries of the region.
