Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel mourned through a message on X the loss of human life and material damage caused by the terrorist attacks in the cities of Derbent and Makhachkala, in the Russian Republic of Dagestan.
On June 23, armed extremist terrorists set fire to two Orthodox churches, a synagogue, and a Traffic Police post in these Russian towns. The authorities identified among the victims 15 police officers and four civilians, including a priest.
The regional Investigation Committee opened a criminal case under article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code, referring to terrorist acts.
