Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel arrived in the United Arab Emirates this Tuesday on an official visit and to attend the COP28 Climate Change Conference, as part of the tour that will also take him to Qatar and Iran.
Through his X profile, he affirmed that this will be an opportunity to continue developing political and bilateral links in spheres of interest with possibilities to expand and diversify relations.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Díaz-Canel will participate as president of the G77 and China in COP28 and in the Summit of leaders of this group to be held in Dubai.
The twenty-eighth United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) will take place from November 30 to December 12.
