The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro assured that the far-right María Corina Machado is on Venezuelan soil, after planning terrorist actions and requesting sanctions against the country from Panama and Colombia.
The words of the Venezuelan leader in his program “Con Maduro Más,” when he commented that the discredit campaign carried out by the opposition against the Bolivarian Revolution makes the world believe a false Venezuela.
“Are there buildings in Venezuela? “Are there shopping malls?” Maduro said, referring to the impression that non-nationals get when they arrive in the country, thinking of a finished and defeated Venezuela without any kind of development.
“There is so much campaigning going on in the world by these dirty people, to whom I said yesterday that if they are not going to help, at least they should not bother,” an opposition that hinders the normal development of the country and which he described as “toxic, the campaign of the toxic one,” referring to the ultra-right Machado.
Regarding Machado, he said: “She is so toxic that in Colombia they don’t want her,” adding that she is moving with the call of the red-faced woman.
“She thought that she was going to mobilize people in Caracas and she was going to appear saying ‘I’m coming for you, Maduro,’ but the failure was so resounding that she fell into depression,” he added.
He also said that upon her arrival she was protected in the Dutch Embassy and then slept at the headquarters of the United States Embassy, emphasizing that “it is perfectly cared for and respected, because we do respect it,” whereas “our embassy in the United States, no, they assaulted it and they have it illegally occupied.”
“There (in the U.S. Embassy) she slept for several days, but the people who are taking care of that headquarters were stubborn because the lady was bitter and more toxic than usual: She is here, she returned, although they have the promise suddenly that she will leave again,” the Venezuelan president said.
