Meliá will open a hotel of excellence on the Ancón peninsula in southern Cuba

Meliá Trinidad Peninsula, the largest and most modern hotel facility in the Cuban province of Sancti Spíritus, will be officially inaugurated with the high season, according to specialists from the Ministry of Tourism.

The largest hotel complex in the tourist center of Trinidad, Cultural Heritage of Humanity, will have 401 rooms and the capacity to be self-sufficient in energy, with a platform of 1,500 photovoltaic panels and a hot water system.

The select area El Nivel is a space for personalized attention, private and intimate to receive families, couples or groups over 18 years old, with a high level of services.

Another novelty is the replacement of the classic card to access the rooms with handles that will serve as keys. It will also have its own transportation for excursions to the socio-cultural attractions of the third town founded by the Spanish in 1514.

At its opening, 240 five-star rooms will be put into service. The hotel will be the first of its kind in the south of the center of the island, and will exchange offers with other complexes, the northern keys and national destinations.

It has seven bars and an equal number of restaurants and protocol venues for holding events, meetings and parties, with specialized attention to business and leisure groups.

For the general director, Juan Pereira, this Meliá is of high excellence, the flagship facility on the second most important beach in Cuba, after Varadero, with the enjoyment of mountains and the attractions of the most preserved town in America.

The Meliá Trinidad Peninsula is located on a strip of fine sand about 10 kilometers south of Trinidad, founded by Adelantado Diego Velásquez, very close to the Memories Trinidad Del Mar, Club Amigo Ancón and Village Costasur hotels.
