The foreign ministers of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, and Nicaragua, Denis Moncada, spoke this Wednesday in New York about the state of bilateral relations between both countries, guided by ties of friendship and solidarity.
In the context of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, both ministers exchanged regional and international issues.
The day before, Rodríguez met with Jalil Abbas Jilani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, with whom he agreed on the interest in continuing to develop cooperation in common areas.
The head of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs is part of the high-level delegation present at the UN headquarters, headed by President Miguel Díaz-Canel, representing the Group of 77.
The current session will run until September 26, under the theme “Restoring trust and reviving solidarity: accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals for peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability for all”.
