Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel exchanged on Thursday with U.S. professionals linked to science and technology, in the context of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly taking place in New York.
According to what the President informed in his account in X, during the meeting he explained to them what has been achieved in the largest of the Antilles despite the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States.
They discussed collaboration and how much can be done to build bridges. There we must also be innovative, Díaz-Canel stressed in his message.
“In the context of #UNGA, I met with U.S. professionals linked to science and technologies. I explained to them what #Cuba has achieved, despite the blockade; we talked about collaboration and how much can continue to be done to build bridges. There too we must be innovative”.
The President heads the high-level Cuban delegation present at the meeting, on behalf of the Group of 77 and China, of which Cuba has held the pro tempore presidency since January this year.
