Cubana de Aviación suspends flights to Argentina

The Cuban Aviation airline suspended its flights on April 23 and 24 to Argentina, because companies that provide fuel for aircraft in that country refused to provide service.

To justify such a decision, the companies invoked the provisions of the blockade measures imposed by the United States against the Caribbean nation.

The Cuban airline reported in a statement that “this refusal has been extended to other airlines contracted by Cubana de Aviación”.

The airline company detailed that passengers booked on these flights that are in Cuba will be protected, sending them back on flights of other airlines that have a connection with Argentina. Meanwhile, passengers who have not started their trip may receive one hundred percent reimbursement of their air ticket.

Cubana de Aviación has declared that the actions emanating from Argentine suppliers are beyond any decision of the airline.
