Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, First Secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party Central Committee and Cuban President recalled the legacy of Kim Jong-Il, leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on his 82nd anniversary of his birthday.

On the occasion, Communist Party’s Organization Secretary Roberto Morales Ojeda expressed his solidarity with the DPRK and the Workers’ Party. He recalled that bilateral friendship and cooperation relations are historic and unwavering and based on the legacies of Fidel Castro and Kim Il Sun.

This Friday, Pyongyang hosted a photo exhibit on the life and work of the North Korean leader entitled “Great Leadership and Enduring Exploits” along with the celebration of the 2nd Artistic Festival of the People on the Shining Star Day, underway till February 18th.
