Cuban President considers profitable meeting with Nicolás Maduro

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel said the meeting he held with his Venezuelan counterpart, Nicolás Maduro, during a stopover on his return from the 7th CELAC Summit was very profitable.

The president said that the meeting, which took place at the international airport of Maiquetía, in Caracas, made it possible to confirm the level of relations.

It is always reassuring to return to the Homeland of Bolivar and Chavez. I held a brief but very profitable working meeting with brother President Nicolás Maduro, which confirmed the level of bilateral relations and the deepening of the solidarity and cooperation ties that unite us, Díaz-Canel wrote on Twitter.

In that virtual space, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez added that in the fraternal meeting, both leaders ratified the will to continue strengthening ties of brotherhood, solidarity, and cooperation between the two peoples and governments.
