Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel confirmed Monday his participation in the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference -COP28-, to be held from November 30 to December 12.
Through the social network X he informed: In a few hours we will leave for the United Arab Emirates (UAE), then to Qatar and Iran for official working visits. In UAE we will participate in the #COP28, there has also been convened a Summit of Leaders of the G-77 and China on climate change. We will keep you informed, he added.
For its part, the Cuban Foreign Ministry detailed on the social network X that the president will participate as President of the G77 and China in the COP28 and in the Summit of leaders of this Southern grouping to be held in Dubai.
