The dedication of the workers of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) was recognized today in a decorations ceremony, led by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the political organization and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel.
Outstanding officials who have worked for 50, 45, and 35 years in the PCC received recognition from the head of state.
For their part, Rebel Army Commander José Ramón Machado Ventura and PCC Organization Secretary Roberto Morales Ojeda presented diplomas to cadres and workers who, for 30 and 25 years, have been at the forefront of the tasks assigned by the Party.
On behalf of those honored, Luis Roberto González expressed the high honor and the profound commitment it entails, as reported by the Presidency of the Republic on the social media platform X.
He reaffirmed that PCC workers will always be on the “paths of the vanguard.”
Likewise, Yudi Rodríguez, a member of the Secretariat of the PCC Central Committee and head of its Department for the Service Sector, praised the leading role of those recognized this Wednesday and asserted that “they are history and a role model for new and future generations.”
During the ceremony, 87 decorations were presented to workers and cadres, in commemoration of Workers’ Day of the Communist Party of Cuba.
