The Governments of Cuba and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) highlighted this Tuesday in Abu Dhabi the willingness to continue expanding and developing relations in spheres of mutual interest such as tourism, agriculture and renewable energies.
This was revealed in a meeting between Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, Emirati Deputy Minister of Economy, and Ricardo Cabrisas, Deputy Prime Minister and head of Foreign Trade and Investment of Cuba, who is developing a working view of that Middle Eastern country.
Cabrisas thanked the UAE for its constant support for the Cuban resolution against the US blockade, and highlighted the credits offered by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, which have had a significant social impact in the Caribbean country.
On October 1st, the Cuban deputy prime minister began a working visit to the Emirati capital with the aim of deepening the ties that unite both peoples.
The Cuban delegation, made up of officials from various Ministries and institutions, plans to meet with authorities of the UAE Government to review the state of commercial, financial and cooperation relations in various spheres.
