The University of Informatic Sciences (UCI) of Cuba summoned professionals and researchers in informatic sciences to participate in the V International Scientific Convention Uciencia 2023.
The event will take place from next October 3 to 5 in Varadero, in the western region of the country, and seeks to become a space for the exchange of experiences, disseminate research results and promote cooperation between participating institutions.
As part of Uciencia, the 8th International Congress on Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition IWAIPR 2023, the XI Ibero-American Congress on Engineering and Project Management, and the International Symposium on Digital Transformation will be held.
Likewise, other meetings will take place, among them, the X International Workshop on Free Software and Emerging Technologies, the V International Workshop on Software Engineering and Quality, the 3rd International Workshop on Cybersecurity, and the First International Workshop on Human-Computer Interface Technologies.
In addition, the International Symposium on Computer Mathematics and Bioinformatics, the First International Workshop on Bioinformatics, and the International Symposium on Professional Training.
Other parallel events will be the 10th International Workshop on Language and L@ngtech Technology, the 5th International Training Workshop for Computer Science, First International Workshop on Virtual Education and Educational Technology, and the International University and Society Symposium.
The 5th International Workshop on Science and Innovation Management, the 4th International Workshop on University Extension, the First Workshop on the Internationalization of Higher Education, the First International Workshop on Higher Education for the Sustainable Development Goals, and the second edition of the Contest “My thesis in three minutes” will also be held.
