Cuba sends condolences to Czech Republic after shooting at university

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez sent, through his official account on the social network X, a message of condolences to the people and government of the Czech Republic for the dead and wounded following the shooting at a faculty of Charles University in Prague.

We regret the loss of life and injuries caused by the shooting, we send our condolences to the people and government of the Czech Republic, and especially to the families and relatives of the victims, the minister said.

The tranquility at Charles University was interrupted the day before when a 24-year-old student, who allegedly killed his father earlier, opened fire on those present, leaving 14 dead and several wounded.

Police ruled out that it was a terrorist attack and said they favored the hypothesis of a single shooter.
