Cuba ratifies commitment to Palestinian cause

The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, today ratified the historic commitment and solidarity of the Caribbean nation with the cause of the Palestinian people.

In several international arenas, Cuba has demanded a just, comprehensive and lasting solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which includes the creation of an independent Palestinian State within the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital and the return of refugees.

According to official figures, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, more than 24,400 Palestinians have died in the Gaza Strip, more than 61,500 have been injured, and thousands have been declared missing.
