Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel praised the heroic and long struggle of Vietnam, on the occasion of commemorating its National Day today.
In a congratulatory message to his counterpart To Lam, distributed here, Díaz-Canel stressed that Vietnam’s victory against colonialism and its definitive triumph against imperialism years later constitute a legacy that arouses the admiration of the people of the world. He also reiterated the willingness to continue deepening the relations between the people and parties of both countries.
For his part, the president of the National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba, Esteban Lazo, extended warm congratulations to the people and authorities of Vietnam through the X social network.
