The 19th International Pedagogy Congress begins today at the Havana Convention Center, with the participation of educators, scholars, and experts from 21 nations across the Americas, Africa, Europe, and Asia.
The event, which will run until the 13th, will explore the themes of education, science, and innovation in the context of sustainable human development.
Organized biennially by the Cuban Ministry of Education, with the support of regional and international organizations in the field, Pedagogy 2025 fosters collaboration among educators and the alignment of global educational strategies to ensure high-quality education.
The meetings will address the outcomes of scholarly investigations, good practices in academia, the digital literacy of students, and the use of AI in this field.
The program also includes debates on inclusive teaching methods in the training of professionals, the educational philosophy of Latin America and the relevance of its educational institutions, education for global citizenship, and the promotion of a culture of peace and sustainable development.
Additionally, the Congress will host the Fourth Forum of Entrepreneurs and Leaders in the field of educational products and services, as well as a gathering of teachers based abroad.
Pedagogy 2025 is also organizing an exhibition which will showcase the experiences of the general directorates of the sector and their partnerships with affiliated companies.
