“We are confident that these games will be a success, as evidenced by the presentations of the different functional areas. We have been nurtured with the necessary tools for the Cuban Paralympic delegation to have an excellent participation”.
So said Raul Fornes Valenciano, first vice president of Inder, who heads the presence of the island in the meeting of heads of mission towards the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024.
At the end of the three plenary sessions, the delegations attending the meeting heard some 20 presentations on different key areas for the smooth running of the event.
These include operations and services, identity, ceremonies, customs and logistics, arrivals, accommodation and villa, transportation, security, ticketing, finance, technology, medical services and anti-doping program, among others.
The Cuban side also held the individual meeting for registration, accreditation and other topics of great interest. The calculator (total participants) of the delegation was reviewed and there was an exchange of views on the forecasts in this regard.
Visits to the Games facilities also began, including the village and the table tennis, athletics, swimming and archery venues.
