The Cuban Government celebrated this Monday the opening in Venezuela of the Fourth Cycle of the Peace Dialogues Table between the Colombian Government and the National Liberation Army.
In his Twitter profile, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez ratified Cuba’s commitment to support and contribute to the efforts to advance in the construction of peace in Colombia.
The guarantor countries and accompanying institutions of the peace process in the South American country spoke in the same sense.
In a statement, they expressed their commitment to support all those initiatives aimed at building a solid path of peace for that nation.
They recognized the important advances arising from the work of the previous cycles, regarding the bilateral, temporary and national ceasefire and the recent installation of the National Participation Committee.
They also thanked the government and people of Venezuela for their generosity in hosting this new cycle of peace talks.
